Hasselblad True Zoom

It’s no surprise that Instagram’s most double-tapped accounts belong to people who shoot pictures for living. Making it a mission to phase out flat, unfocused #OOTD posts (we assume), Motorola has teamed up with legendary Swedish camera company Hasselblad. In short, True Zoom turns your phone into a professional camera. The ‘Moto Mod’, which is designed to snap on to the back of the Moto Z, adds a 10x optical zoom, image stabilisation and Xenon Flash to the phone and followers to your account. Available at Motorola, priced £199.99.

Bugaboo Boxer

Even if you’re not a dad, you’ve probably at some point at least wanted to kick the tyres on what is known as ‘the Rolls-Royce of pushchairs.’ Luckily, now you can without all that messy pro-creating. Dutch company Bugaboo has announced the launch of its first ever luggage collection, and it’s a serious game-changer. The modular system features a series of interlocking cases, ranging in size from laptop case to carry-on and check-in, that all snap into place (as well as together) on a single four-wheeled chassis. Available from 26 September at Bugaboo, priced from £790.

HP Pavilion Wave

The days of ugly beige boxes best hidden under desks are over. Today’s PCs are sleek enough to be mistaken for a Bang & Olufsen speaker. Especially when, well, they are. HP’s new Pavilion Wave ditches dull design in favour of a compact, triangular home theatre system, wrapped in a thick, woven fabric. In the middle sits a custom-tuned, 360-degree sound system from the audio gods at B&O Play. They also found room to cram an entire computer inside, too. Available from late September at HP, priced £680.

Peugeot eF01

Sure, there are times when six wheels are just better than four (see below), and then there are times when two-wheels trump all. And believe it or not, there are ways to choose pedal power without arriving at the office a sweaty, rumpled mess. Peugeot’s first electrically-assisted folding bicycle takes the leg work out of getting from A to B, thanks to a lithium-ion battery that delivers speeds of 12 mph for up to an hour. Plus, the eF01 has a unique design that means it can morph down into a smaller size quicker than an Ikea sofa bed. Available from early 2017 at Peugeot, price tbc.

Lamborghini Urus 6×6 Concept

You’d be forgiven for thinking we’d got a hold of a leaked image of the latest bad-ass Batmobile. In actual fact, this concept car shows what a 6×6 version of Lamborghini’s upcoming super off-roader SUV would look like. Similar to the real-life Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMG 6X6, the beefed up Urus rides high on six mammoth wheels with an added flatbed, while staying true to the original design (due to launch in early 2017) with a satin black finish and red accents.

Whistles x Earl of East Candle

Chill, lighting a scented candle doesn’t need to leave a lavender-shaped dent in your masculinity. There’s nothing girly about upgrading your airspace, after all. Case in point: Earl of East. The Hackney-based candlemaker operates out of an old shipping container (who doesn’t?), producing hand-poured scented soy wax burners packaged in sleek, dark amber apothecary jars. The brand’s base is a stone’s throw from Whistles’ debut menswear store, so the pair has teamed up on two co-branded candles. A match [lit] collaboration made in heaven. Available at Whistles, priced £20.

Michael Kors Access Activity Tracker

If the world of wearables has taught us anything, it’s that not everything on your wrist has to tick. But while activity trackers are great at keeping a focus of fitness, many lose sight of style. Michael Kors’ new Access line of lifestyle gadgets hopes to break with tradition by looking every bit the part. Along with a sporty-looking smartwatch, the line includes a simple silicone tracker that monitors steps, calories, distance traveled and sleep – with LED notifications that let you know if you’re meeting targets – and can also be used to control your phone’s music playback, or even take a photo. Available at Michael Kors, priced £89.
