You’re only as old as the man you feel – an adage that does not apply to medical check-ups, marathons and now, dancefloors. At least that’s what a new survey by electronics retailer Currys PC World is saying. After quizzing 5,000 adults on their nightclub habits, it determined that 37 is the age your disco days die. Almost 37% of respondents went as far to describe a golden oldie cutting shapes as ‘tragic’. Ouch. That said, most listed the age of 31 to be the turning point between a 4am rager and a night in on the sofa. So be warned: if you’ve got kids older than the millennial in the corner grinding to a song you don’t even recognise, it may be time to call it a night. Permanently.
