Finally, a reboot that isn’t completely shite. And better yet, Tom Holland wore threads that are just as well received at a screening of superhero flick Spider-Man: Homecoming. Spinning an often problematic web of brown and black, the 21-year-old made it work with one staple piece – the suede jacket – anchored by a foundation of black separates.

James Franco’s lesser-known little brother is by no means lesser-dressed. In-between takes at a recent AOL Build Series, Dave went for relaxed tailoring with a choice white tee – a strong smart-casual go-to without the summer stuffiness of a shirt and tie. Strange, we thought the Franco brothers usually needed a herbal refreshment to relax.

Dominic Cooper went for a centre-court smash at this year’s Wimbledon. Instead of Fred Perry-ready tennis whites, the native Londoner opted for umpire threads in a navy two-piece bolstered with an expert Windsor knot and razor-sharp fit. That’s love 15, Cooper.

Our heart goes out to Jason Bateman. Following a long-haul flight back to LAX, the Arrested Development star was greeted by a mob of paparazzi. But at least he looked tip-top. Michael Fassbender’s style can be quite hit or miss, but he takes date night very seriously. While wining and dining girlfriend Alicia Vikander, the Alien: Covenant star teamed a foolproof blue sweater with equally failsafe denim and suede kicks below, resulting in one cohesive look. Man crush: intact.

High-brow comedy doesn’t lend itself to haute couture, but that didn’t stop a stand-up style routine from Aziz Anzari. The Master Of None graced Chanel’s front row in a series of wardrobe staples, letting flattering cuts speak far louder than any fleeting trend. Who’s laughing now?

After that Vivenne Westwood hat, the quilted Moncler body vest and a bizarre collab with Mika (of all people), Pharrell’s back – back to his old self and back to some good old clobber. This time, the ‘Feels’ crooner went for 1990s acid house. But before your head hits the desk, know that a muted denim jacket and basic jeans brought a tricky look back into on-trend waters.
