The NBA’s original sultan of swag, Walt ‘Clyde’ Frazier, has inspired countless versions of the namesake Puma sneaker, including the latest drop, which honours Black History Month. The Puma Clyde Legacy Collection pays tribute to the sports brand’s signature athlete with two premium iterations of the classic sneaker. The first features leather uppers designed to mimic a basketball texture as well as gold eyelets and a contrast heel that represents Frazier’s many basketball trophies. The second pair, dubbed the Puma Clyde Wool, is inspired by varsity jackets and comes dressed in the colours of Atlanta’s David T. Howard School, where the superstar studied. The first drop from the Clyde Legacy Collection is available now at Puma, priced around £110, with the second set to follow on February 2.
