What a fab read with sound advice. As a woman Im often horrified by the number of guys out there with jeans that are too tight. Fellas-the skinny jean on men is not a good look…Really.not.a.good.look. Follow the advice of this writer and you are onto a winner.This guy seem to know his stuff!

I have a pair of the gun fit jeans from all saints easily my favourite pair of jeans. At the moment im just trying to find a pair of jeans with a every similar fit but ina a different wash / colour.

@ Racso : Check out Unconditional and Aqua Couture, they both do great drop/low crotch jeans. Also, check out Levi 201’s, they’re the perfect pair of dark blue drop/low crotch jeans!!

Really helpful read, and becoming my favourite style at the minute. Are these the sort tou see guys wearing rolled up without socks? i like the trend but cant seem to get the right pair that works, however i think the oki-ni may work.

The slightly loose tapered jean at the hem is very popular with nu-chavs (scallies). The ones that have gone through a bit of a evolution of late (migrating from track suits and caps to deck shoes/heavily detailed print shirts etc) and have adopted Ed Hardy gear as their staple for tees and tops. For this reason alone is why I’ll be avoiding this trend.

@joe if you want tis type of fit jean but that comes up a bit short on the lenght i highly recommend you check out this pair i invested in last week..

this way, you do not need to roll up the jeans to show off some natty striped socks you may have, they sit just above the top of my Nike Air jordan retro Hi tops perfectly wihtout covering any of the trainer. Also, i can get away with wearing a pair of pointy shoes/tan brogues with them without the jean falling over the shoe at all.

@sean i think the tapered loose jeans your talking about being worn by chavs/scallies are the ones that are still very wide at the bottom and most of them wear them half way down the backside aka hip hop syle for last 8 years or so.

a lot of the examples featured above are very narrow leg at the bottom like the skinny jean look going on but still enough room for the average man in the thigh so it doesnt like you wearing a loose pair of flares ! lol

Purchased the allsaints resin splits from my local groceries the other day, shame they where to big. I could tell they where a bang on pair of jeans.

@ jason B – the centre and far right pairs of oki- ni jeans are what the chavs (who think they’ve got some class) in manchester have started wearing..that style. They don’t do the dropped round the bum look as I think its too associated with certain other styles like skateboarders/surfers/emo’s.

@rishi i noticed the All saints jeans come up very big in the waist, i had to get the droid split in size 30 waist when normally i am 32 or occasionally 33. have you tried this version instead of the resin split ?

@sean the chavs always cotton onto one or two styles i suppose, they were all wearing burberry a few years back i seem to remember. In london where i live there are not many arounf for me to comment on their style.

personally, i think you cant fowrong with the new autumn/winter collection from G Star which some have a similar look to the Oki but more twisted.

@ Jason B i had the same problem i ordered a 32 as this is what i usually wear and my topman carrots are of a 32 waist, however the 30 from allsaints was a perfect fit. Nope i have only purchased the Resin splits and i love them! do you recomend the droids?

im really into this fit atm and im after a new pair, anyone know were i can get the very top centre pair?

I have one pair on hold but they are £125 but on the web product you featured all sold out they are £84 !

@rishi M Yeah i had the all saints droid split in a 30 waist which is most unusual cos im normally 32/32 in G star and Nudie and Diesel and boss. I actually took them back last week with my all saints elder dickie bow and put the £90 towards a new jet black Coerce leather jacket from them !

but i would recommend them if you want carrot or Lee do some very good carrot versions in dark indigo or vintage light denim, you can find the Lee versions in urban outfitters ot selfridges for £90 so £15 more than the all saints…good luck

£85 is the maximum you should pay really for the dry heavy version. The crinkle finish version come in at about £105. Hope this helps.
