Here at FashionBeans we have a very good relationship with the guys at All Saints. They let us know about all their latest products in advance so that we can in turn let all you guys know about them. After all, our readers are the people who are interested in fashion and clothing, so it makes sense that you should be treated preferably and able to get things in advanced too.
They have a massive SALE on at the moment in which they are clearing out a load of their summer stock. Whilst this is happening they are preparing all of their new high summer collection and autumn/winter 09 pieces. Some of these are actually listed on their website but are HIDDEN right now, so that they can go live after the sale. If you check out our All Saints Clothing category on site, you will be able to find these items usually before they are released to the general public! Make sure you check each week as we update it regularly.
All Saints have also just added a LOAD of items to their Vintage range on site. Vintage at All Saints includes previous items that were TOP sellers and sold out quicker than any other items they produced. They go back to these pieces and reproduce them in LIMITED QUANTITIES so that you have a second chance to buy. In our last update (this weekend) to our All Saints clothing category we noticed some amazing blasts from the past which would be great for this Summer or to stash in your wardrobe until Autumn/Winter (as there are a lot of sweats/knitwear available). Some picks from the new Vintage range are below.
FashionBeans – bringing you more EXCLUSIVES that no-one else does! Enjoy
Vintage All Saints Collection
Some of these items I have owned before. Sometimes your favourite t-shirt will become worn or you will grow out of it – this is a great way of getting your hands on your favourite items all over again.
Check out the vintage category here!

That yellow long sleeved top is *gorgeous*…the bottom right grey top too. Ordered with a few t-shirts. I tell you what I really like the look of, their leather shirts – the rebel shirt and monster jacket are beautiful…any advice on what to wear with these?
I love both of the items you said above. I also have the New York jumper already and it is one of my favourite/most worn casual style sweats. I am a bit of a sucker for NYC though after visiting so maybe has an emotional connection.
I think their vintage stuff is some of the best gear they have ever done – it is also pretty well hidden on site so you can pick up some amazing stuff in your size whilst everyone else is scrambling for the new season.
I have a couple of the leather shirts. I have one that fits literally like a shirt would and just wear it on its own with some skinny jeans and boots (bit like the Ed Westwick post) or with a fitted vest underneath and a few buttons undone.
Also another one I have is oversized i.e. I bought a size larger than normal. I then wear this more like a leather jacket with a t-shirt, polo or “normal” shirt underneath. Its a great look in winter to layer up. You can also wear a nice skinny scarf and the other usual winter accessories with it.
With the shirts you can fold or push your sleeves up. Just because it’s leather doesn’t mean you can’t treat it like a normal one. It then makes it look more congruent/natural in an outfit – rather than trying to arrange everything else around the fact you have a leather shirt on… hope that makes sense!?!
The black monster shirt is my favourite and would definitely treat it more of a jacket.
Check this one out if you want something more of a “shirt”:

Its a new style but has a collar which I love.
what is the difference between a retro look and a vintage look? i know they are similar and yet they are used to describe totally different looks…
I think the word here is used in the same way it might be for wine – which is to say, the vintage section contains those items which are high quality/popular but from a previous All Saints season.
Yeah Witness is right – in this story vintage All Saints is the term the brand uses to describe them. These are “vintage” because these exact same styles have been released before (say 2007 and 2008) but they sold out so quickly and were so popular that they have made limited quantities of them for resale now.
On another topic – In terms of describing a retro and vintage look I would personally say they are one in the same. People use the word retro when describing items that relate to a past generation or time frame – say ruffle shirts from the 70′s or a t-shirt with Pac Man or another old school 80′s game on etc.
Vintage is pretty similar but I would imagine the clothes to look faded and worn. Again with styling from generations past like tie-dye, ruffles etc.
In the end though the terms are overused in women’s fashion and pretty much mean the same thing.
Cheers for the link by the way Ben – *gorgeous* shirt!!! I love the collar too! It seems a bit odd looking at jackets and leather shirts etc when it’s so crazy hot…they really caught my eye though. The rebel shirt is just begging to be bought – I really like post-apocalyptic and steam punk…I could imagine one of Milla Jovovichs mates wearing it in Resident Evil: Apocalypse
