UKKO – New Premium Golf Fashion Brand with 20% OFF

Being quite a keen golfer myself, I was pleasantly surprised to get a call from a brand new English clothing brand which specialises in mixing golf clothing with the world of men’s fashion. As you can imagine, I get literally 100’s of emails and sales phone calls each day asking me if I am interested in featuring their clothes/website/brand on FashionBeans, to which I reply… no. However when UKKO sent me through a few images showcasing some of their launch collection I was interested: “send me a sample” I said – cheeky I know, but I have to be sure right?!

They sent me one of their cardigans and I have to admit the quality truly blew me away. Especially for an independent UK fashion label. The fabric was a true quality merino wool (like you would get in an All Saints knit), the colour contrast was beautiful and the detailing was spot on. Think visible white stitching against a dark berry colour cardigan. From what I have seen, they really are trying to “mix” sport and fashion together. This just goes to show men’s fashion is advancing. In the past you would never get a golfing brand which did anything but create functional clothes for the course (I would know). However, with the need for a fashionable male to stand out everywhere they are and whatever activity they are doing, companies such as UKKO are catching on to this fact.

This is what sets this brand apart for me. These are clothes you could literally wear during the day or on a night out… they have that preppy upper class style, but they are no different from the high quality knitwear that you would find at your local All Saints or from other traditional brands like Fred Perry. The polo shirts could especially be worn this summer and would look perfect with a pair of rolled chino shorts and some canvas trainers.
