1920s themed outfit sorted: now what shoes?!

On Saturday night I'm going to a 1920s themed ball. Here is my outfit thus far:

This suit (with a plain white dress shirt and the following accessories):

The question now remains, what shoes would be most suitable for the theme? I have a variety of brogues, double monkstraps or penny loafers?

Thoughts on the outfit in general would also be apreciated
    Cheers guys

    Where's the tie from?

I'd be tempted to go for a burgundy pair. It would compliment the tie and pocket-square very well.

I'd be tempted to say that penny loafers would go best with the theme. Though, I do agree with Ben that it is color-dependent.

I think Burgundy would be overkill. I would probably go with the Monks. Are they dark brown?

You're not going to go wrong with either decision (monks or pennies). However, I might change my mind now that you've shared pictures. Those are some nice looking monks and would go well with that outfit. That, of course, is my personal opinion for what it's worth.

I'd go with the monks, the brogues and pennies seem a touch too casual in those colours for that suit.

    I agree with BSB.

Although I stand by my original post. If you have an oxblood pair of shoes I really think they will compliment the look perfectly. I am not a massive fan of grey with tan-coloured shoes.

I think the monks would work best.

Not sure about the relevance of the coat.

You could always use a Pomade on your hair for a 1920's slicked style.

Any black shoes? For anything formal(ish) in the evening, I'd tend to advise black shoes.
