    Jeans vs Foot Size

So I've recently bought a pair of GAP indigo slim fit jeans, they feel and look nice until I put shoes/boots on. I am 6'3" (193cm), 87kg and size 11 (45) feet. The trouble is these jeans make my feet look enormous even if I'm wearing relatively slim shoes (as slim as someone with size 11 feet can get). I think it looks a bit silly actually.
Is it just better to wear well fitting straight leg? Or find a slightly slimmer fitting straight leg?

    Thanks,
    Chris.

You will get used to it after a couple of days and never turn back.

Don't you think it looks weird? The other thing is that sideways on my knees stick out in the jeans or is that normal and something I'd just get used to? I'm used to wearing well fitting Diesel straight (Larkee) jeans you see. My feet do look enormous or could that be just to my eye?

Do what makes you feel comfortable. If you feel that your skinny jeans make your feet stand out and look larger perhaps opt for a slim fit straight leg. There's no point walking around and feeling awkward about it. As others may suggested, you may want to wear them a few more times to see if you get used to it.

I'm familiar with the GAP slim fit and I can assure you that it's not a hugely slim fit by modern standards. This leaves us with two possibilities: either your feet are abnormally large or, more likely, you're just not used to wearing a slimmer fit.

Keep wearing them, ask other people's opinions on the issue and I'm pretty sure you will come round to loving the look.

Thanks, I'm a size 11 so my feet are pretty big anyway and I have rugby legs so the Gap slim fit are pretty skin tight around my calves and thighs.

The most important part of style is feeling comfortable, if you keep wearing them and never get used to it and you still feel self conscious about your feet looking big then it really isn't worth wearing it, even if a million people tell you it looks alright! I have had similar problems with different kinds of accessories and jeans, you name it. People told me it looked fine but I felt differently, so I never bought it and found something similar that I thought looked better. Hope this helps and good luck!
