t-shirts that don't break the bank

Need some new plain t shirts but don't want to spend a fortune as I find a lot of them shrink in the wash & I spend on other clothes so spend less on basics like these. Often I tumble dry them which obviously shrinks them over time which is why I don't want to waste too much money on them.

Any suggestions for good but cheap basic t-shirts?

My three places for basic T's, so without pictures and logos, are:
    American Apparel, Zara & UniQlo

Gap for black, white and grey. For a wider range of colours try American Apparel!

I recently bought some fitted, slight v-neck T-shirts from Next at 3 for 15. They fit me great and were exactly what I'd want in a plain tee.

H&M's Basic collection t-shirts is good. They're cheap and usually of a solid quality. They're my go to brand for navy, white and black t-shits.

I second Joel - Gap are great quality and fit well, for about 9.

I don't rate the H&M ones. They shrink a lot in my experience

H&M do the trick for me, only like 5 as well.
