    Smart tailored-look swimshorts

About 2-3 years ago I discovered Outlier's "three-way shorts" (OUTLIER Three Way Shorts) marketed as smart shorts you can where all day in the summer, but also designed for swimming. I love the look of them but the price, $148, is ridiculous.

I've spent the summers since trying to find an alternative. Last year I managed to get a pari of block colour swimming shorts, that have a smiliar look and work fine when on holiday, but on close inspection, they're clearly swimming shorts (materials, elasticated waistband, etc).

Has anyone got any suggestions on where I might find something similar. I see that in the H&M summer lookbook (H&M Summer 2013 Part 2 Menís Lookbook | FashionBeans.com) the style of shorts is still here, it's just trying to find a pair made from a quick drying material rather than cotton.

I'm after them for two reasons: one I live by the beach and you never know when you're going to end up in the water; secondly, I travel with work alot, often to nice climates, and having multi-function clothes really helps keep the suitcase size down.

    Many thanks.

Those swim shorts look amazing, but just as you said the price isn't really justified. Maybe all of us on the forums could start doing a collective search and post our findings here.

ASOS had some last year which were fairly smart, try looking if they have something similar this season.
