    Finding a Jacket for Summer

Finding the perfect jacket for summertime has always been an almost impossible task for me; those that I like the look of tend to be awful in hot weather and those that are wearable in hot weather tend to look dreadful. Does anyone have any suggestions to the 'perfect' jacket for the coming summer months?

What sort of thing are we talking about?

Formal or informal? Blouson or blazer?

As for the safari jacket, I agree that they are due for a come back. The 70s leisure suit look has tarnished them for too long. That said, I've not actually seen that trend realised in many of the shops I've been into.

Yeah, need more info on your style and the kind of thing you're looking for.

Smart, casual or something in between? Proper outerwear, or a lighter jacket to go over t-shirts, thin jumpers etc? Something to wear in the day, or evening, or both?

    Some ideas might be...
Casual: denim jacket, unstructured blazer in cotton or linen, leather jacket (better for cooler evenings probably), safari jacket
Smarter: trench coat, smarter blazer/sports coat

Perhaps let us know what you might be wearing it with, and we can suggest some specifics...

I too am having this issue!!

Need a summer jacket for work, not sure the safari jacket would work on this occasion.
