What is a sixth form suit? Most sixth form colleges dont have any particular dress code do they?

Best advice - as ever - is to get out and try some on.

Take someone with you - they'll be able to see how the suit fits better than you, even with good mirrors.

If you have a store like Slaters, which does a wide range of end of line and reduced priced suits, that would be great: there is a good range of prices and makes (so you can get a feel for what you like) and the staff are very helpful too. Adjustments to sleeve length and so on are free too- which is handy.

Otherwise, branches of T.M. Lewin and Austin Reed are decent places to go. Lewins often has sales on and you can get a decent suit for c 200 very easily. T K Maxx is sometimes worth a gander - there can be occasional bargains there.

Finally, given you want to get a lot of wear out of this suit, I presume, buy a second pair of trousers, if you can.
