    Brown velvet blazer

I'm considering to buy a brown velvet blazer and would like some opinions on how to wear it. Does it work in a smart-casual setting and what should I wear with it?

Make sure the cut and accompanying pieces are modern or it will look VERY 70s. But yes, it can work. I'd try burgundies, blues, and maybe greens and oranges. Try it with the standard fashionbeans Oxford shirt, indigo jeans and tan brogues?

Interesting. I haven't quite gotten into velvet yet. One thing I'd definitely watch for is the materials you pair with it. No corduroy, for example. I'd probably stick with cotton for the shirt and trousers. In addition to what BSB said, medium blue or grey jeans would also be solid in that outfit.

I'm thinking about buying a vintage velvet blazer from Mens Vintage Clothing, Suits, Harris Tweed Jackets @ Tweedmans Vintage
Good idea or should I buy I new one to ensure quality and a modern cut?
Also do you think velvet is a garment that can be worn all seasons?
