outfit dilemma! What goes with this jacket?

So let me describe the function; work staff party on a boat down the thames with bosses and senior management - so formal right, but the problem is we're going out in central London afterwards which needs reasonable casual.

I bought this jacket and can't seem to pair it with anything:

I also purchased these trousers to go but they don't!

I also got a knitted tie which is a very good match with the chino trousers.

I have some mid grey trousers that go with jacket ok but it seems very monochrome....

As back up I have a navy/indigo jacket that I'm willing to wear with the brown trousers.

Both potential outfits will be paired with black shoes and belt

Some white trousers with that blazer would be killer

Navy trousers, do you have a Navy knitted tie? or a light blue shirt?

No to the tie and trousers actually... I could swap the brown tie I bought at UNI-QLO no problem.

I have the light blue shirt!

Black or dark grey would work imo.

I can't see navy or brown working, seems at odds with the colour palette.

I thought grey would work well too.

Mid-grey would be perfect, light grey could work too but dark charcoal might just a tad too dark.

You could always add colour with your shirt choice - perhaps a light blue?

It's going to be 26'c tomorrow so I just think I'll miss out the jacket as it will be way too warm, plus my blue shirt is oxford anyway so it's already thick cotton.

I'll go with blue shirt and brown trousers, problem is my brown shoes are ankle boots, a little too hot for this weather I would say. hopefully black will do the trick, if not I'll suffer for the style!

    Thanks for the help guys!
