Opinions on this Tan Leather Belt

Id like to invest in a nice tan leather belt and wondered what opinions were on this Ted Baker belt:

Ted Baker Men's Bright Back Tan Brown Keeper Belt

I think the leather grain looks lovely but Im unsure on the branding. Admittedly its very small but my preference would be nothing.

Happy to invest a reasonable sum if there are any other suggestions.

This was my first choice but my size has sold out:

    Robert Charles Tan Nubuck Belt

Beautiful belt IMO. I understand your concern about the branding, but I don't think it will be very noticeable when you are actually wearing it.

Nice looking belt. The branding is hardly noticeable when worn, so don't worry about it.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I think a tan leather belt is such a versatile and classic piece that goes with so many things that I should be investing a little more than the sale price but I guess price isn't the only indicator to quality.

I think this Meermin belt is now in pole position:

    MEERMIN - Accesories > Belts > 35MM - TAN COUNTRY CALF

    Any thoughts? Not too orange?

The Meermin, not a fan of the Ted Baker tbh.

I don't see any real, significant difference between the two, except for the price tag.

That said, the Meermin has the slight benefit of having leather loop, rather than metal - a personal preference. Obviously it's impossible to say without feeling the material, but if I should take a guess, the Meermin leather looks stiffer. I prefer smoother, soft leather belts. But as I said, that's just a guess. And another highly personal preference.

Oh, but Meermin is a family company. That actually makes it more appealing.

The Robert Charles was the nicest (though I think you already knew that). I think the Ted Baker is smart, but if the branding puts you off, find something else.
