Chelsea Boots with a Rubber Sole

So I'm on the hunt for a nice looking pair of Chelsea boots with a rubberised sole for when conditions get less leather friendly. I've been eyeing up this pair by Ben Sherman on ASOS. The sole is finished in their own "neolite" material which which I believe is rubber. Does anybody have any experience with this type of sole and any opinions on this as a winter style boot?

    Thanks

Rubber soles is definitely the way to go but everytime I see some nice boots it says the sole is made of "other materials" or it doesn't mention the sole material at all.
Leather is a no go I think.

Yes, a rubber sole with some structure. Leather is, as CosmicVagrant points out, a no go - they'll be ruined quickly by wet weather, the kind of weather you'd want a boot for.

You can't really tell what material that Ben Sherman sole is made of, but in my opinion it looks a bit flat. In weat weather, some surfices get terribly slippery with flat soles.
