Winter Coat - Anyone seen any good ones?

Looking for a new winter coat, away from the staple pea, and nothing seems to be jumping out at me so far after hours of trawling the net.

    Anyone seen anything sexy?

Like a good fitted field jacket, and quite like this from Mango last year, but im not a big fan of black coats as I think theyre not as versatile as say blue or brown.

Any help, as ever, greatly appreciated.

Last year I got a jacket very similar to this one:

    Nice one, NorthernSoul.

Skybluemark, if you're looking for a bargain, Gap is offering a nice varsity jacket (amongst others) for a good price.

Hehe, the one I got was from a small French brand called "Bleu de Paname" (once in a while they come up with great stuff). It is completely lined with shearling wool, so it's nice and toasty in winter. I can button it right up and turn the collar up and even button the collar, so I'm never chilly when I forget my scarf.
The buttons are a tan brown, so they contrast nicely with the navy blue. It set me back a good 200 quid.
I got a ton of compliments on the jacket and I am actually less upset summer is ending when I think I'll be wearing my jacket soon.
The only thing is: it's hard to dress up. Not as versatile as a pea coat, but way more original at the moment.

Nice coat, but I can't decide whether the guy looks like he's nicking something or like he's about to expose himself..

I brought a field jacket from Esemplare in the spring this year and have practically lived in it (outside of the peak summer weeks of course). Beautiful construction quality, nice slim fit, practical and also waterproof which is useful in the UK. I'd seriously recommend checking out their site or otherwise Googling them and looking for shopping sites with good reductions. Barely used my Hackett or APC coats since picking it up.
