Thoughts on this Reiss Denim Jacket?

I need a smart, darker denim jacket for layering during the winter. Thoughts on this one? Unsure about the zip but it is a good price.

I don't like it mate. Looks like a girls jacket IMHO.

If it wasn't for the price, you wouldn't be swayed. Just hold out and find a nice buttoned one, or maybe check out Zara or even Topman/Asos.

It's nothing I'd go for myself, but I'm sure it would fit your style (or the at least, the idea I've got of what your style is).

Still, this jacket doesn't seem to be able to decide whether to be a denim jacket or some kind of denim Harrington. Maybe it's just me being stuck on denim jackets needing buttons, but I'm not a fan of the zipper.

Looks a tad short for a fall jacket - but that's probably the old man in me talking.

I don't like it at all - and I say that as someone who buys 85% of their clothes at Reiss. I saw a nice darker denim jacket in Zara at the weekend. It had fur detailing on the collar, which may not be to everyone's taste, but it was a nice jacket.

ive actually tried this on, it does look better in person - but, there are much, much better alternatives.

I love Reiss, but I have to agree with the posts above and pass on this jacket. Levi's offers some classic ones at a reasonable price.

It's not for me Nath. I agree with Ben - you probably wouldn't consider it if it wasn't on sale, or wasn't Reiss. I often have to pull myslef back from buying expensive stuff in the sale just because it's discounted!

I second the Levi's recommendation, I got one on eBay for 25 it was "used" but no obvious signs of any wear, and I actually think it was almost new
