    White jeans? Really?

I've just been reading the 'what to wear in your thirties' FB articles (as I'm 38), and they're really good - but I was surprised to see white jeans being so heartily recommended.

Is anyone successfully rocking the white jean? I'm assuming it's largely a SS thing rather than AW?

I wear them throughout SS. They work in a traditional Italian formal look, with a navy blazer and loafers, or with a more edgy look, with a denim jacket.

Might have to get a pair next year if I'm feeling adventurous!

I like them, an off-white kinda thing is probably better though

I prefer something slightly off-white too. I think they can work on brighter winter days, not just in S/S.

I agree that they can work on winter days as well as during summer. Especially a cold, clear, crisp day, rather than a drab, grey and wet one! See for example:

Nice, thanks. Maybe something in stone would be a good middle ground. I'll keep my eyes open!

After a false start with HE by Mango (sent me blue rather than the white I ordered, but I didn't like the fit of the blue so sent them back), does the cut of white jeans have to be different to blue (indigo) jeans, ideally?

For example I know 501s fit me really well. Could I just get a pair of white 501s?

IMO bright jeans like white ones work best in at least a slim fit. I can't quite imagine baggy 501s in white.
