Picked up a parka recently that is good for casual + layering

Still got peacoats etc from last year so gonna be rocking that look too

Can't beat a slim, stylish puffa jacket for when it gets really cold

I'll be breaking out my trusty old navy pea coat again. looking for a burgundy or mustard coloured duffle coat, depending on finances.

I've got a grey peacoat which has been a stalwart for a few years now, a tan/dark camel duffle I got last year and a mid-thigh grey herringbone overcoat I found in a charity shop over summer, looking forward to the chance to actually wear it! Getting sorely tempted by camel overcoats on eBay as well but I probably should refrain...

I have a field jacket which I'm kind of in love with and also a duffle.

    I
think I'd also like to add a pea coat, but want one a slightly different colour to stand out as everyone seems to have one in navy or grey. I saw a really cool one the other day in green. I also really want a leather biker jacket but am not sure how realistic that is due to cost and practicality.

I'm going to be giving my trusty peacoat some TLC by sewing some buttons back on and getting it dry cleaned, but am also considering this for smart:

Hi I need some help with a winter coat. I've got a grey overcoat that's quite formal and I can't really wear that casually so I decided to buy a navy Peacoat. But I am torn between 2

This one from Marks and Spencers

    http://www.marksandspencer.com/Doubl..._rd_s=center-3

    But there's this one from

Mil-Tec US Navy Pea Coat Black

Do I go for the Marks and Spencers one or do I go for the military one? Also I have got 40 Paypal Voucher and the military website says I can use Paypal. I want to get one with really big classic lapels. Decisions decisions. Any advice appreciated.

Also I have considered a Parka but I am dubious about wearing one. I still have memories of wearing one as a 5 year old with that horrible orange lining (to be a child of the eighties)

My old pea coat I bought in 09 has seen better days so I've decided to lay it to rest.

Slightly foolish maybe but I've decided to take on the winter with three coats, a denim, a leather and a Harrington I've seen online that I'm gonna buy on pay day. With that sorted I've allowed myself to invest more in the layers. I've picked up a few oxford shirts recently, also a cardi and a v neck jumper.

That sounds brave. I would def need more than a denim/leather or harrington coat to keep the chill out, layers or not!
