    Christmas Party outfits

Most of us who work will be going on a Christmas party (or two) this festive period. What are we planning on wearing? Post pics if possible.

Mine isn't until Black Friday, so will post then. Didn't want to wait til then to start the thread, as would miss most of you.

I would post mine, but it won't be great as it's just people going to the pub after work this Friday coming...

Looking forward to what everyone's cracking out. Sequin blazer anyone?

^ I'd rather leave the sequin for Daft Punk tbh. I'd like to buy a velvet blazer but I just can't justify the price for something that I'd wear only once a year.

If I'd have too much money to burn I'd go for a black sequin jacket, just for new year's eve. Scotch and Soda made a nice one last year...

I think I have decent foundations: dark tan brogues, slim dark navy jeans, off white paisley shirt and navy wool blazer.

How am I going to finish that? Cheaply. I've just bought a bloody house! What accessories could I go for?

It is a wee bit safe maybe. I think its going to be too warm for a jumper, but I have a suitable gray v-neck if need be.

It's tonight, thinking of busting out something like this.

    And these shoes but black

May all change though depending on weather / mood / the fact I will be very overdressed compared to everyone else.

Knitted tie in burgundy or dark green?

I actually have 4 to attend this year (own plus 3 clients). Most recent was Friday gone. No pics unfortunately, but here’s what I wore:
Prince of Wales Blazer – Reiss
Navy Cashmere Crew Neck – All Saints
    White Shirt (underneath) – Next
Indigo Selvedge Jeans – All Saints
    Tan Belt – Meermin
Grey Flecked Socks – Paul Smith
    Tan Brogues – Barker

@Black Sheep Boy - thanks for your input. Went for the jumper as it was baltic last night and think it went well. Got complimented on the shirt. Tie would have been a good addition to the outfit but I didn't really get the time to look for one just. Save it for next year lad.

    Such a shame I didn't pull though!

What did you end up going for? That jacket is a beaut, but I am always wary of nice clothes when I know it will get messy!

I am *this close* to getting a casual bow tie too...
