    Denim jacket

    Morning gents,

    I've been looking at denim jacket recently but I'm being a picky bastard so was hoping you might be able to offer me some advice. I'm after a denim jacket that I can double up with at least one pair of my raw denim jeans. One pair is a dark midnight almost purple and the other has seriously dark indigo warp threads to the point of them looking almost grey. Now I imagine you're now thinking "well just get a light wash jacket that is quite blue and go home" but I'm not a huge fan of pale or bright blue denim, don't know why but I just never have been.

    Jeans I own;http://rivetandhide.com/media/catalo.../t/st120x4.jpg

    I quite like what's going on in these two images;

    In fact I really like the later jacket and was wondering if someone knew where I might be able to find something similar?  I've had a look at quite a few and I've narrowed it down to these;

    1. http://www.asos.com/Pepe-Jeans/Pepe-Denim-Jacket-Slim-Fit-Vintage-Glory/Prod/pgeproduct.aspx?iid=3099860&SearchQuery=pepe%20den im%20jacket&sh=0&pge=0&pgesize=36&sort=-1&clr=Vintageglory

    3. http://shop.replay.it/en/Replay/FW13/Man/Jackets/color-coated-slub-denim-jacket-with-4-front-pockets-1912.html

    I think number 3 is going to the best bet, it's slight blue tinge also still lets me wear it with some Prince of Wales chinos I own.  What do you guys think?

    Honourable mention but discounted because I don't have the time to fade it properly

    Looks like you've found some good ones tbh

    All Saints ones have been silly in the sale and they have many diff washes

    All sold out now but worth checking back on the site every now and then for possible returns. V happy with my one which I think would be a good match for your 2nd pic

    Cheers, I'll keep a look out! I think I might just panic buy my instinct one because I just got an email from gant saying my burgundy cardy won't be coming and I'm out for compensation.

    On that note, the cardy in the second image, does anyone know where I might find a camel shawl cardigan?

Just a thought but they were very popular back in the day and could spring upon eBay from time to time if you're determined. I may even have had mine until last summer when I suspect it ended up at a charity shop. If it isn't the exact same jacket it's near enough a carbon copy.
