advice on buying raw denim jeans

So as the title suggests I'm looking at buying some raw denim indigo jeans, and they'll be the first pair I'll buy so I'm looking for pointers. So what should I keep in mind with fit and care?

Just be prepared for stretch and not having the same fit from when you purchased. Sure you have to size down because the waist will stretch out but this also includes the thighs and bum.
I've retired both my ps and the ns apc's simply because the knee bulge looked rubbish.
Maybe cos I sit down too much

I've got a pair of raw jeans from All Saints. They fit perfectly, look amazing but they're pretty uncomfortable, not much give in them and sitting is sometimes a pain ha but they look good.
