    Roll down collar

I'm really digging the styles in these photos (hence why i started another thread regarding my hunt for the double breasted blazer).

In the article these photos were used, the shirt was a "classic 50's shirt with a roll down collar"

Now am i being stupid, is a roll down collar just a collar with no buttons? The opposite to a button down? Or is it something else?

Hmmm not sure, all if can think of is the 'rolled' process for the collar which produces a puffy curl rather than a flag. pressed crease at the collar area, this is used in tailored suits for lapels (rolled lapel): Parisian Gentleman – The Lapel Roll: The First Signal of a Handmade Suit

    Not sure though!
