    slim fit-structured blazer/tie

    My question might seem naive but I will make it anyway.

    Can a slim fit-structured blazer being worn with a tie?

    Sounds fine, although I'd keep the tie on the casual end; knit, wool etc rather than shiny satin.

    Why that?Why not satin?A slim-fit structured blazer is formal anyway.

    Why not have the tie also formal?
