    3/4 Length Shorts

Anyone know where I can get some decent 3/4 length shorts in preparation for the 2 weeks of sunshine we might get this side of the pond later this year?

With the trend for short-shorts being all the rage, it's nigh on impossible to find any longer shorts that aren't cargos or chinos chopped below the knee.

So, any suggestions welcome... as long as they are long enough to hide a pair of legs that only see the sunlight 10 days a year at best, look OK and aren't chinos, cargos or look like something a skater or surfboarder would wear.

You could perhaps make some yourself from an old pair of jeans.

I hadn't thought of that... thanks!

You're welcome. The benefit of making your own is that you can get the length just right.

Can't believe nobody mentioned 3/4s in the Hate thread
Just go the whole way or lowest sitting on the knee. Otherwise its like having a shirt half untucked. Or maybe do the cropped trouser thing or roll your chinos up a few times...

Fashionable shorts are all very well if you have fashionable legs.

Start cycling a couple of times a week and you'll have "fashionable" legs in no time!

I always find myself in a similar situation come summer. Shorts above the knee reveal my emaciated legs to the general public, while 3/4 length shorts make most men look like they're 15.

This conundrum has led to me abandoning the notion of shorts altogether. Light chinos, with the ankles out and a correct number of rolls suffice perfectly in hot weather.

I have women's legs but if it's actually hot enough for me to get the shorts out then it means I'm too hot to give a stuff.

I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one with shorts issues!

My problem is that my legs are so white they could easily star as extras in a zombie movie.
