    Thanks, Creed. Interesting stance on not pairing black and white unless it's a formal occasion. I think a light blue shirt, brown chino belt and brown shoes should help break the look up if black was to be worn. Be it in a jacket or jumper. The suede shoes should also add a nice amount of texture with the otherwise smooth fabric of the chinos.

    Not sure it would work with chinos but a look I really like is green blazer, blue oxford/gingham, white jeans and black chelsea boots. Saw David Hemmings wearing it in the film Blow Up recently.
