    Emoticons

So, it has become apparent that we need some better emoticons for the forum.

Mr H has said that he's up for it, and has tasked me with sourcing a new (free) set that we can use.

I thought I'd out the question to the boards and see what we come up with.

    Let's do this!

Soon we won't have to express ourselves like
Although on reflection I kinda like

    Anyway, get googling!

Gah! Emoticons. They're where the interwebs started to go astray. You never really know what you're going to end up with. All you want to send is a wink-smiley, to not get misunderstood, and all of a sudden there's a frisky Pac-Man flirting on your behalf!

Can't we just have them turned off, removed? Digitally burned at the stake?

Right, just worked out that it's a 'vbulletin' forum.

So first you need to upload the new images (for the new smilies) to the BB-hosting server , by following this process:
    https://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html/smilie_upload

Then to add them into the site, do this:
    https://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html/smilie_add

So before all that, you need to have downloaded the new smilies (refer my PM to you last week for a good site to get these)

    Ett Voyler!...

Yeah cheers, I did get your PM but forgot to reply

What we need is a concise library of emoticons that we can use that won't make us cringe - don't really have time to be curating them etc

Harder to find than you would think
