    Bomber jacket challenge

Help. Can anyone suggest where I can get a lightweight, cotton bomber jacket, preferably in navy? I've looked at versions by Acne, Folk, YMC and APC but they all seem to have an unwanted detail, or the material is too rigid or they don't have the elasticated waist or wrists. I'm after a really simple, classic style. I see a version is available on Asos - has anyone bought one of these and would you recommend it? Any ideas gratefully received.

Looks as though you can stretch to over 3-400 quid so Im sure there will be some great suggestions coming. Although thats the first time I've heard APC of having unwanted detail

The Dolce and Gabbana one I bought last week is unbelievable and fits all of your criteria other than colour. May be worth searching to see if they make them in blue. Had the ribbed sleeves and bottom, perfect cut, great quality buttons, great construction etc...

Got this one the other day. Decent weight to it and like the fact that it's not got a polyester outer. Fit is spot on for me too.

Have you thought about Marks & Spencer? I know their image has always been a bit "old man", but they've come a long way.

I got this one a few weeks ago. Good fit and decent quality for the money.

Some great suggestions there, thanks a lot. Looks like I'm off down to the shops this afternoon.
