    Chino tailoring question

    View image: photo

The above link is a snap of me wearing my new grey chinos. I was hoping I could get some advice.

They need taken up, but should I get them tapered below the knee? What should I ask the tailor to do?

    Thanks.

Everything above the knees looks decent enough, so i'd suggest to get them tapered below the knees indeed.

Yeah get them tapered and shortened

Pretty sure they have to taper the whole leg to get a clean line

I get in such a stress about this very thing.

I wonder if they actually need tapering (unless you want them skin tight), they might sit better once they've been shortened and not need it - also if you taper it below the knee it will probably emphasise the bagginess around the knee.

They're too long for sure. Were they expensive? If not just return them for ones that fit, because the alterations will set you back the price of a reasonably priced topman/ASOS chino.
