Skinny chinos and a blazer- your thoughts??

    hello chaps,

I usually wear slim chinos, shirt (occasionally a tie) and a blazer for work. Generally with some double monks or brogues, except when the weather is crap then its boots with my trousers over the top.

I have seen a few decent looking pairs of skinny chinos which I' m thinking about switching with my slim ones, thing is I reckon these will make the look too casual as opposed to smart casual??

What are your thoughts?? my blazers aren't skinny fit but are slim, I think with extra layering when it gets colder the whole lot will look out of proportion...

Generally, I think skinny trousers can work for smart casual. I sometimes wear skinny jeans with a slim blazer, and I think it works.

It depends a little on how skinny your legs are though, and how skinny the trousers are. And the "too casual" variable is also a bit down to context.

Do you think it looks good? Go for it!
