    Monthly Challenge - September 2014 - Transitional Pieces For Autumn 2014

    Congrats to Martino on winning last month's backpacking challenge. As he's too busy packing his bags, I'll kick this one off before the month runs out.

    Taking it's cue from this FB article, it's all about the "transitional season"...

    The contradiction of having fingerless gloves make sense because you can't use your hands properly with gloves on, but gilets I have never understood. You take a jacket which is meant to keep you warm / warmer, then cut the fucking arms off it, thus rendering it completely pointless. It'd be like having a pair of socks with toes cut off them.

    It's the same concept i think. There's an athletic/active vibe about them so makes sense not to restrict arm movement. Also, as the magnificent Neeson says, "Rub your chest and the arms will take care of themselves"
