(pics)Could I Become a Model?

Firstly I would like to apologize for my English.
I always wanted to become a model. But it has been just an idea. I don't have enough self confidence to do so. A girl who works for the model industry told me that I should try it. But one people opinion isn't enough for me. I don't know if I'm somehow talented or not, that's why I will post here photos of myself and I want your honest opinion. These are amateur photos of myself, I haven't had a chance to visit professional photographer yet. This is supposed to be a fashion forum so I hope that here are few people who have a bit more knowledge. What do you think? Btw I'm 188cm.

Oh yeah...these are going straight in the wank bank......

To be honest mate, you're probably not model material. Not that you're a bad looking lad, but professional models either have to be RIDICULOUSLY good looking, or have something very distinctive about them.

If you still want to try though, go to a modelling agency and ask them their honest opinion. Good luck.

For a runway model I'd say no, because apparently you have to have those cheecklines etc. But for commercials, advertisements or clothing brands, wich are not that fashionable like the brands on the PFW, you could try. They are not looking for extremely good looking people, but for people in wich the 'average' looking majority can identify.

You should give it a go if you really want to.

I'm an architect by profession but I do a bit of part-time modelling on the side. Recently, I worked as a body-double for David Beckham and David Gandy in their underwear promotion campaigns. The hardest thing I find about the work is the bulking-up, then slimming-down aspect, but the pay is good.
