    Tweed Blazer Purchase

Pay day looms large on the horizon (five days and counting) and I think it's going to be another tweed jacket purchase.

I absolute love the material and cut of this Ralph Lauren blazer:

However, at about £3,000 it's just a tiny bit out of my price range unless I start selling organs.

I've got a budget of £500 max but would be happy if something came in at the £300-£400 budget. If I find a cheapish one, I might also get the Burton Heritage one too (making £500 overall):

So far, I've seen a few I like:

Glen Plaid Wool Blazer - Suits & Sports Coats Men - Ralph Lauren UK
Ralph Lauren: Glen Plaid Wool Blazer (£335 reduced from £475)

Sale - Paul Smith - London 1155-T78 Chocolate Brown Jacket at Coggles.com online store
Paul Smith: Wool/Cotton Mix (£285 reduced from £570)
It also comes in a lovely blue/grey that I'm considering too.

The Eastling Blazer | Jack Wills
    Jack Wills: Eastling Blazer (£298)

I actually like the styling of the Jack Wills jacket, but the Paul Smith/Ralph Lauren discounts are so very tempting.

Anybody seen any other tweed blazers to throw into the mix? I'm after a slim fit in a 36 or S and want the tweed style check.

    Cheers in advance.

They are all lovely. I was more wondering if anyone had stumbled across anything similar within the budget that might be even better choices.

Not tweed per se - but if you were to get in right quick you'd be able to fill that hole with the (lovely) Burton, and snag this delicious bargain:
Richard James*Prince of Wales Plaid Jacket*|*MR PORTERIt is of course not quite tweed, but it's a nice textured wool with a great nod to the heritage trend. And you are a 36" chest, yes?

It was more the heritage style than tweed per se, yes, Sam, so the plaid thing is what I was going for.

That's a lovely jacket and very similar to the Paul Smith one in grey, and £845 worth of jacket for £250 is a steal. It's more formal than the others though. I have some tough choices to make. I'd love to buy either the Paul Smith or the Richard James one for smarter wear and the Ralph Lauren or Jack Wills for more casual wear, but my budget says I shouldn't

Did we base ourselves on Dr. Who, or was it the other way around?

Looks like they have your size...

I have a lush Holland Esquire Tweed Blazer in Grey with blue checks/details, and with that fantastic lining... I got it in TK Maxx for £80 too

Perhaps fortunately, the Richard James has gone! Unless of course it was you
