Yeah it's a shame there isn't more activity on here. It's surprising really as the articles that come up each day are usually brilliant and extremely informative, and I'm sure that loads of people view the site for those each day. Just don't know why people don't venture into the forums.

I must admit, I've not been as active as I could have been, but in all honesty this forum often tempts me into buying things I can't afford! :P
And that's mainly down to my shit will power haha, but I only tend to come on when I need advice, or I'll just read and not post which I hope to change.

But yeah, I'm gonna start posting more and will start posting pics up of outfits (which I've done a lot of in the past) for feedback etc!

Those guys on that other forum look like a couple of fashion elitists tho (But seriously that Nic Cage gif seriously made me LOL)

I've had a look around those forums and I still can't believe that a bunch of them can afford to splash out on Common Projects, APC, Levis' Vintage Clothing, and other high end brands.

I don't like the jacket. Leaving that aside, I'm not sure about the jacket/trouser combination. They're too similar for contrast, but not similar enough to work in unison.

Part from that, I like it. Nice touch with the green satchel.

What style? A quick browse in that What are you wearing-thread reveals a severe lack of style in general, and most posters seem to focus more on brand than anything else.

I like this forum, because the general style here is a bit more refined and sophisticated, yet open minded, and the tone is civilised. If I wanted random abuse from people who think shouting louder makes you more right, I'd just go back to high school, wouldn't I?

Thanks for the feedback again peeps

I can see how the jacket wouldn't be to everyone's taste, but good to know I'm not completely mental lol

They make out on FUK like everything about the fit is terrible, but like you guys say, coming from them it's not too much of a worry. Did make me question myself though!

@JEK - I like that, a full length pic would be good though.

Let's get posting in this thread and turn this forum into the community it should be!

Generally agree with what MarcLager said. A quick look at that forum indicates that it caters for a very narrow range of "approved" looks and brands.

Seconded. Fashionbeans may be less active but its a friendlier and more constructive community.

Thank you. That's difficult since I don't have any full length mirror. :P

Pins I have to hand it to them some of the insults were pretty funny especially the nick cage gif but I can't believe the abuse you got. Similar to many people in my area, if the jeans are not boot cut then it isn't acceptable to them. I laughed at the comment in bemusement having a go at you for rolling them up.

What baffles me more is they have a go at the fit of your clothes but then compliment some truly shapeless, banal styles that my not so fashionable dad could put together.

In honesty the washes of the jacket and jeans in your second outfit wouldnt appeal personally to me as they are too similar but that's not to say the look doesnt work.
