Basically I have been spending ages looking for double monks, then single monks, first tan leather then dark brown suede. I found some I wanted to buy at Herring at £110 but they were out of stock, then I tried to order some dark brown double monks from meermin at €160 but their website was busted. I was in Reiss in Guildford today and they had a rogue 2 seasons old pair of all the combinations combined (tan, suede and double monk) hidden at the bottom shelf for sale, in my size for £43!!! When I paid at the till they came up at £87, so they were mislabelled, but they gave them to me for £43 anyway! Reduced from approx £180.

Also got 2 reiss pocket squares reduced from 20 to £6, and a tie reduced from £49 to £19. So lots of bargains today! All this for £74!

Those monks are seriously nice, very jealous of such a good find. You've bagged some good bargains lately.

Those monks are from Reiss’ SS13 collection. I looked at them myself but ended up getting some Meermin’s. Great buy.

I have that tan coloured pocket square in navy.

I dare you to enter this as an outfit into the "less than £100 thread".

Shoes on, and the tie and pocket squares fashioned into a Tarzan style loincloth to cover the oul "meat and two veg".

Not sure if something bright would be too much?

BTW I LOVE those monks you picked up. Been looking at that style or a while but my wardrobe isn't as evolved as yours yet so haven't got round to buying investment pieces in specialist styles and haven't found bargains as great as them in that style. Will have to make my way to the Reiss in Cheltenham soon as see if they have some steals like what you found.
I definitely would not be wearing red with these shoes, I am trying it picture light blue with them but can't either. I'd be picking out one of the colours from the boot and using this as the main outfit colour for a top, and the top I'd be wearing would be either a hoody or sweater. It's a very casual print so it can't really be added to a smarter outfit, it need to look completely casual. A denim shirt would also look good!

2nd pair of shoes ordered this weekend. Wouldn’t normally consider Asos for shoes but love these, especially the combination of leather and suede. Originally £50, down to £30 and then I had a discount code so only £27. Be rude not to:

    Loake chelsea boots

A friend called me to say that he had just tried on some Loake Chelsea boots and they were slightly too small for him and hence my size. Sadly he did not just purchase them for me so i found myself racing to the charity shop to purchase these boots at £25. I had assumed the boots would be battered in poor repair ( I mean who in there right mind would give away good quality boots?) what i found when i arrived at the charity shop were a mint condition pair of boots with not a single mark on their sole. So I am a very happy shopper !!

Nice and classy looking. I can just picture these on someone at the marina supper club.
