I’ve never purchased shoes from Aldo before but my understanding is that quality levels are comparable to say Dune.

If that’s the case then – and accepting that Dune are by no means a high quality shoe brand – they will still be better than the Mango ones.

If they are poor then I’ll send them back too.

Had very much the same experience, brought a pair of suede derbies from them last summer and they had formed a hole in the side and the soles had worn to shit in the space of a month.

Had quite a funny experience in their changing rooms aswell trying on a pair of there chinos, bent over to pick up my phone and the crouch to ripped open and when i tryed to take them off ripped a hole in the hem.... Handed them back and exited the shop swiftly... They might of just been a dud pair but havent shopped their since, the quality is terrible and as you and others have mentioned the clothes look a hundred times better in the lookbooks than in store..

I'd personally wear them with skinny jeans with a slight turn-up, a plain tee and some form of casual jacket (bomber/harington/denim). And some cool socks.

If you're less inclined towards such an 'indie' look, slim chinos and an oxford shirt would work just as well.

Looks very smart ICA, just not sure I could bring myself to pay 1,120 for a bomber.
