So, sending back, Filters turning up today - again in 32 - hopefully they will be good though.

How have you found the consistency of the sizing?
I tried on a pair of the cannons in 32 two days ago and I normally comfortably fit into all saints 32 in chinos and jeans but couldn't close the cannon chinos, the waist appears to be a good bit smaller for some reason. 34 was better, overall though I didn't really like them.

Typically I'm a 32 waist but all other All Saints chinos in the past have been too big on me except for these recent Cannon/Filter styles which fit me like a glove. Their Print Cigarette jeans in a 32 are too big for me also, but the Wamwam fit me perfect.

My Cannon's in Vintage Blue arrived today and the colour doesn't really match the website either, their more of a greeny blue, so I may return. I wish they just did a typical navy blue in the Cannon.

Bought a pair of black Clarks brogues for a tenner on eBay last night. See how they are when they turn up.

My Filters just turned up. They fit beautifully - going to keep them - but the colour isn't really how it looked online. Still nice though.

I wish All Saints would sort out their sizing consistency and colour representation. I've ordered a few bits online which have been totally diff colours in the flesh. I suppose that could be a by-product of their famed "artisanal techniques"

I was talking to a guy that works in Allsaints today. He said that the colour is very inconsistent. Apparently "Cloud" is the worst. He said he picked 5 identical items out and they were all different shades. Apparently they have 50 shades of grey in their range too, so given 5 variations per shade, and 50 shades per colour you stand no chance of getting anything you expect without actually going and looking at it in the flesh.

I looked at two different items in "pebble" and one of them was nothing like the other and closer to "slate grey". Personally I think they just stick whatever label sounds like it might match on each item. Who is to say what "pebble" actually is.

I've stop ordering from All Saints online, their sizing guides really aren't that useful as like you say all their items seem to differ quite a bit anyway. Plus you have to pay to post it back to them, which isn't great as most places offer free return postage. There's an All Saints store a 30 minute drive away so I just pop in there whenever I want to buy something now.

Paul or Pins, have you guys owned Topman chinos as well as All Saints? Is it worth paying double the price of the Topman ones for the All Saints chinos? I find it hard to justify spending £65 on one pair of chinos when I could have two pairs from Topman for that price.

I've never bought chinos that I've prefered to Topman's skinny chinos. The fit is lovely (a slim on me), and once you've got rid of those horrible cheap buttons they're great for the price.

The thing I've found with Topman chinos is that they fade quite fast; in some colours this looks absolutely fine, but it spoiled my scarlet ones. That and the buttons are my only issues with them though; they're great otherwise. I'm moving more towards the "slim" fits personally; skinny's still valid of course but I just want to look a bit more timeless, and I think it's probably a little more flattering, and, dare I say it, masculine, although there's nothing inherently feminine about skinnies either.

This is odd! I have the Filter and Cannon both in a 32 and the filter are definitely the more snug out of the 2. Oh well, at least you have some that fit you now.

Got 2 bags today for the sum total of £8 in the Topman final clearance sales. A heritage style rucksack (originally £32) and a distressed, brown leather satchel (down from £28). Ridiculous.
