    Haha Jay
I've just ordered something tanny, leathery and jackety.
If it arrives and fits I'll try and post a photo - if it's as good as it looks it'll look good.

Tan leather jackets are a winner, I have a Diesel one I picked up in Dubai over 5 years ago and it still gets worn, just gets better and better. It's the most unbelievably soft nappa Lamb's leather.

As for new purchases, I picked up an All Saints quarry gilet in navy/green waxy tartan cloth

And a Ralph Lauren slim-fit tartan shirt

Both from TK Maxx, £30 and £40 resepectively! Both bargains imo, especially with tartan being the in ting around now.

Thinking of rocking the double tartan for my casual work xmas party! Can it work?

    I think so!

And now it sounds vaguely creepy

Pins... double Tartan is too dangerous not to try out! I think it'd look good myself. Also, mine's from a vintage shop so not sure about quality yet.

    And WinterShorts - nice coat!

Btw, Pins. I love that Ralph Lauren shirt, great pattern and colours.

Yeah, it looks really nice. And I just noticed that if double tartan won't work with those pieces it never will; the green of the gilet picks out the accent in the shirt, and the checks are in different, complimentary sizes.
What I would probably try and do though is split up the items with, say, a charcoal or navy jumper. As long as the collar and, if you roll up the sleeves and fold over the cuffs, cuffs are showing, you'll still have the pattern action and I think that'd look really good.

Glad you like! Amazingly, it was £40 in TK, and it's still on My Wardrobe and others for £105! What a find! It fits amazingly too.

As for my double tartan escapades, all systems are go, but I'm not going to cop out and buffer the checks; if I'm doing it, I'm going all out!
