Smart casual look for a sunny lunch on a terrace of an Italian restaurant.
white shirt with straps to attach rolled up sleeves (nice detail), yes badly tucked in shirt I realize now.
lightweight brown woven leather belt
slightly darker beige "desert shoes" (they aren't boots, so not sure what to call them)
Last night's monochrome navy outfit with
front leather panel sweatshirt (Cos)
navy summer chinos (H&M)
navy and black Nike free run sneakers
Not a very formal look but today I felt like quite a relaxed look. Black skinny jeans (Asos), white crew new t-shirt (H&M), grey skinny braces (Topman), black socks (converse), light blue hoodie (H&M) and light blue Nike blazer hi tops.
denim jacket - asos
camo t - primark (bought to throw after glastonbury but washed ok)
jeans - Levis
shoes - ted baker
@sam1234: That top outfit works really well. Simple, but stylish summer outfit.
It was quite cold yesterday for the middle of August. My camera is terrible, and I'm not that comfortable taking photos, so apologies for the image quality. Didn't go sockless in the end as I didn't think it worked that well...
Miansai Leather Bracelet
Paul Smith Shirt
All Saints Jeans
Very casual summer outfit:
-grey T with rolled op sleeves (River Island)
-cotton D-link woven navy belt (H&M)
-light greyish blue tapered chino shorts (AllSaints)
-navy espadrilles (Inno)
Another relaxed summer outfit, with nautical influences:
- long sleeved Breton T
- beige summer chinos
- brown boat shoes with white laces
Anybody digging my looks? Or are they too simple/minimal? I don't really tend to accessorize much. Just a wristwatch, messenger bag, sunglasses and the occasional hat...
I'm a big fan of more minimal styles during the Summer as well, Sam. For me, it's a product of spending the last 6 years in unbearably humid locales! But I do like what you've been doing-- your looks are simple without being boring.
They're nice. I wouldn't call them simple, because I think you've got a good sense of fit, which is not the simplest of things. Minimal, sure, but my opinion is a summer outfit should not be over-complicated and too accessorized.
