nice! particularly fond of the trousers/jacket combination!
Like the jacket / shirt combo Marc. Not crazy about the rest if I'm being honest. As a whole outfit I mean.
Items are all nice in their own right though. :)
I'd love to know what people think about this. I didn't actually wear this today, more just tried it on. But I can't decide if I would wear it or not.
Is the waistcoat ok to use as a layering item? And does it work together with everything else?
@Aneres11 Yeah if it's cold enough, I don't see why not. Under that denim jacket it looks like a more structured cardigan though.
@Aneres11 It's not bad, but something doesn't feel 100% right to me. I think it's the fact that the whole outfit is a "classic/smart" look, contrasted by the casual/modern denim jacket. I think it could work better if you find another element to dress it down if you want to keep the denim jacket. Maybe loose the tie or wear a cardigan and a knitted tie... Not quite sure what the solutions is, just trying to express why it isn't working 100% for me...
Thanks for the responses.
@Sam1234 I kinda get what you're saying. I have to wear a tie for a work, so long as we have a shirt and tie on we can wear whatever else within reason.
I tried it with a cardigan first, (just a thin button up one) but it didn't look right. Also, I have a knitted tie but feel like it would be a little too big compared to the skinnier one I've picked here.
I personally am in the same kind of mindset - that something might be slightly off with it, but like you I couldn't say what! :)
Well, if you're working with a dress code that's a different matter.
I think that if you where to go for a bite to eat or drink after work, you could ditch the tie and maybe put on some nice sneakers or a casual shoe. That'll look more like an outfit that makes sense with the denim jacket.
My oufit for today.
