Bow Tie With Suit
Hi, I'm going to a wedding next month and want to be a bit different to just wearing the "normal" suit.
I'm thinking black trousers, patent shoes, white shirt, grey blazer and a black bow tie. What do you guys think? Maybe with a black pocket square too or do you think this is overkill with the whole black and grey thing??

I think you should go for a coloured bow tie, maybe a red or green? you might find a black bow tie, black pocket square and black trousers a bit too matchy matchy. The rest of the look sounds good to me though.

Thanks for the replies. I agree about matching too much, do you think just a block red or green or maybe a patterned?
Cheers!

They have a bottle green knitted one on Reiss, that would be perfect.
It's all oversized and ting.
Outfit sounds kl.

Go for a plain block colour. The Reiss one is knitted silk.

I'd second what's been said so far, and I also think a black pocket square would look a little odd...if you want to keep it minimalist I'd use a plain white square instead.
