Shoes To Go With Light Blue Denim

Hello all,

I recently purchased a pair of skinny light blue jeans from Topman. I based the purchase on the great fit of the jeans, however I thought I would be able to wear these with a pair of white converse.
Unfortunately, the lightness of the jeans seems to make the white of the converse appear very dirty, and so an untidy outfit.

What colour/style of shoe do you suggest wearing with these? The light denim is actualy a nice colour, and not that horrible grainy 'Dad jean' wash.

Would be a shame not to wear this pair.

Black goes with almost everything, black shoes would look awesome...but to get more stylish you can get a pair of blue sharkskin boots.

Joel! - good shout, I ended up buying a pair of sand desert bloots from asos, look awesome but better still with a lightish sandy grey pair of skinnys I have. Love em.

The 'ruggedness' to the boot makes for a wicked outfit with my plain t's and chunky knitwear.
