I bought practically the same thing from Topmn the other day. Been rocking them with these, looks really good.

AllSaints Panel Jupitus Boot
They are shearling-lined and have a grippy sole so are amazing for winter, and are currently half price on All Saints Archive. Win.
I got mine in the sales last year and they just get better and better.

Prob some brogues or possible brogue boots would be good for you
Those aren't military boots though, more of a hiking/utility vibe imo

Tan brogues! Black and tan is bang on this season.

Yeah, tan brogues with a dark red chino every time for me. You could also go for beige desert boots for a more casual look too.

Chelsea boots are a personal favourite. Also one of the only times a black casual shoe is really okay, although they don't have to be black!
But I do agree with the general consensus. Brogues would be cool. A sleek, dark, simple leather trainer would be another good choice.
Red goes with plenty! I'd suggest tan or black though, I've never enjoyed it with brown.

I would try some hiking or worker boots. Similar enough to your military boots to create a style that you will be comfortable with whilst still marking you out from the crowd. Wear either with some chunky socks to add a bit of texture and to add that little extra flair.
It sounds like your style might be geared more towards the casual so you might find brogue boots a bit too formal. With regards to the footwear you mentioned I would see how much you could do with your trainers, military boots in my opinion at least are becoming a little bit too cliche.

Some standard blue vans plimsolls (similar to the picture) are an option, although I have seen a lot of people wearing this. I don't know if you want to stray away from the look you gave in the picture or go with what I see as an understated, well-dressed casual look. Obviously your age will effect the decision as well but I don't know how old you are so I'll leave it at that
