I like the navy one, but don't LOVE either of them. I think you'd be better off trying to find a reasonably good quality trench coat in camel or a similar colour. It's a more worthwhile investment and will look fab will all your navy stuff.
Navy Mac or the stone mac?
The only thing stopping me from buying the navy mac is that i already have a navy duffle coat, navy blazer, navy pants and a navy coloured with white polka dots shirt so i think i shouldnt have anymore navy clothing right? but i cant imagined myself wearing the stone mac.
Need some opinion from you guys. Thanks!

I'm afraid I'm not an expert, I tend to wear thicker blazers or a short pea-coat in winter. However, you're best bet is rifling through eBay to see if you can find a nice Burberry number for a reduced price.
On the other hand, don't let me influence your tastes! I have a fairly formal image, so a trench coat suits my tastes ever, but there's nothing wrong with those macs. Definately prefer the navy though.

That's a difficult choice if you're looking just between those two. I prefer the navy myself, but you do have a lot of navy stuff already, so the stone would give you more choices in your wardrobe. Like Nath says, I don't really love either one. What about the trench do you not like? Topman has a decent looking belted mac in stone which falls in between a classic mac and a classic trench. The price isn't terrible, either.
I really wouldn't pay 65 quid for the Asos macs. I can't speak for the quality since I've never tried Topman but they have some - to me - much better looking ones in the 75 area in various colours: trenchcoat - TOPMAN I personally have my on this one by Zara: TRENCH COAT WITH LAPEL AND ZIP AT THE CHEST - Coats - Man - ZARA Denmark
It's more expensive and navy though.
Btw what do you guys think about the cropped trench coat concept? It's an appealing concept to me, being a bit vertically challenged (176cm) but I've never really seen one in the flesh.
I had never heard of the cropped trench coat before. I had felt that trench coats were a little more formal than a mac, but the cropped trench seems to also be less formal. Although I think if I were to do a cropped coat, I might go with the cropped pea coat instead of the cropped trench. The shorter distance below the belt for the cropped trench just feels a bit off to me.
My style is mostly casual, smart casual. I rarely go to the formal side so a trench wont be utilised as much i think but on the other hand a mac would be perfect for casual and smart casual right? and the other day i tried the navy top man trench, it looked great and quality is good but it doesnt look that good unbuttoned since its double breasted. Anyone has any suggestion for mac would be appreciated! Thanks!
I would personally go for the Stone Mac. The lighter, the less formal it is.
