    Crew Versus V Neck

Hi beaners. I was reading on another blog something about crew neck jumpers. The author made a comment that V necks passed out of fashion about two years ago, and crew necks have been big since then. I was a little surprised, because I don't think I saw anything like this in any of the articles on FB. Have people noticed the passing of the V neck? Has anyone started retiring theirs? Or are you still rocking them every chance you get?

I think v-necks are ever so slightly more formal. That said I quite often wear them casually. My go to winter outfit when I'm not sure what to wear is a oxford, v-neck jumper with a blazer on top.

I don't they'll ever "go out of fashion" as such; they're a pretty essential part of any guys wardrobe.

Good to hear. I'm still a fan, and planning on making a couple purchases soon, so it's nice to know I'm not alone.

I must say that the V-neck is still in style. Some celebrities would wear something like this inside a leather jacket, , with any jeans on and combat boots. Some wear it inside a checkered buttoned shirt. I have a dozen V-neck shirts.

V neck over shirts; crew over anything else is my opinion.

Interesting. Are you referring to only button-down shirts when you say "shirts"? I wore a V-neck over a T-shirt the other day because I wanted to show a little splash of color (white pullover, bright blue T-shirt).
