@Prince of the Rodeo: Thanks for the links mate! Have to say, the second one looks much easier but I'm not sure of the result. I think I might have a crack at that first, authentic one; I have a pair of black River Island skinnies that I got for £6 in the sale. Then found they had some kind of glittery trim down the seams :') so they're for it.
I'll let you all know if I ever get round to it.

Interesting pair of shoes - I don't actually like the wooden sole/black leather combo to be honest. The shape of the last is really nice though, from what I can see. Where are they from? Paul Smith?

They're made by Acne and £390. I'll not buy them as I kind of love them but am not sure about them all at the same time. £390 is too much for an item I'm not sure I'll wear a lot. And also too much due to the simple fact I don't have £390.
