£390 indeed. Just a couple of months' savings
Speaking of expensive shoes, I went into the Cheaney factory store yesterday. If I can snap a photo, I'll show you what I got. That place is amazing.

I'm going to be in the market for some summer shoes to wear with my planned warm weather outfits (a great deal of chinos and shirts), I've started collecting a list:

Definitely looking for either a loafer or Monk Strap (i'm also looking for brogues), not entirely sure on material or colour however, I already have a pair of suede loafers so I'm thinking leather. I am quite taken by the Monk Straps though.
Apologies for the mismatched picture sizing.
We'll see what my bank balance says in the next few months.
Have you seen what Reiss are offering Will?

The loafers you posted and the Reiss loafers seem very formal looking to me. The Poste ones from Office look more casual to me. Maybe we should take this to a new summer footwear thread?

I'm going for a more formal Riviera Chic look this summer so I wanted something more structured, hence my leaning towards the formal end of the scale, I've already got some fairly informal suede Florio Loafers from Kurt Geiger.
As an employee of Reiss (albeit with a maiden shift tomorrow) I intend to make full use of their products. I had a good look at those loafers on my trial shift; I even used them in an outfit creation exercise, I do quite like them but I am yet to come round fully to the lighter, slightly greyish brown colour. Definitely something to consider however; and certainly a possible article idea.
The stupidly warm weather and a quidco offer are making me look at linen shirts on uniqlo...what do people think of these?

Nice. I was after a plain linen shirt for summer, and those are a hell of a lot cheaper than the ones I saw on mr Porter!
