What's wrong with the toe cap?

Hahahah, I still don't know how to do that.

They just remind me of military boots too much and they get in the way of the clean lines of the shoe.

Considering some sort of lightweight, unstructured navy/blue blazer for when the weather warms up. Ideally want something that's not too standard-navy-blazer, but a bit more youthful.
Looking at this one from ASOS, I like the slightly brighter colour:



Or maybe this one from Zara, but a bit unsure about the elbow patches, they're a nice quirky touch but maybe something I'd come to regret in a year's time?



Any opinions/other suggestions?

I prefer the top one. I bought this from All saints when it was at around £35 a month ago:

love it to pieces. Wish I had the trousers to go with it. It's comfortable, great quality, and best of all different. I love the double breasted fashion ATM.
It's not worth £80 though...

@ Black Sheep Boy, I liked the look of that blazer in Zara , took a look in store a few weeks back and didn't like the quality though. I'd try the Asos one.

Thanks for the heads up. Leaning towards the ASOS one, but given the ridiculous frequency of deals on their own brand I think I'll wait and see if I can get it cheaper
